Electric Circus’ first release is Alph and Betty’s Topsy Turvy World, a new Motion Adventure Book for iPad.
Alph and Betty’s Topsy Turvy World is the first in a series of animated storybooks for young children, crazy adventures that are funny, colorful and unobtrusively educational. This is a beautifully illustrated digital storybook which features TV quality animation, real game functionality and literacy focused educational toys.
Embedded in the pages of this entertaining story are a mini platform adventure and over forty fun mini-games and puzzles based on recommended primary stage literacy learning, including letter recognition, phonemes, rhyme and alliteration. Moving further through the pages of Alph and Betty’s Topsy Turvy World the reader will discover a big surprise that literally turns this world upside down.
Primarily aimed at children 3-8 this is pitched somewhere between a story book, a game and a TV cartoon. Not just another interactive book from the old cd rom model (i.e. click on things which then wobble about) or the even older pop up book idea, this is essentially a beautiful animated book which incorporates real proven game concepts and animated sequences with a slant towards literacy and learning.
Alph and Betty’s Topsy Turvy World is now available on the app store with Android versions to follow.
